College Intern at the Georgia Radio Reading Service for Summer 2010
Patricia Cox is a student at Berry College in Rome, Georgia and this summer she is interning at the Georgia Radio Reading Service (GaRRS). Cox is severely visually impaired; however, this fact has never kept her from achieving her goals. She proves that yet again this summer as she performs some administrative tasks, helps to find new content and even records and edits audio for broadcast on GaRRS.
GaRRS is the state’s only radio reading service for people who are blind, visually impaired or have difficulty with the printed word. For more information, contact GaRRS at 1-800-672-6173.
