The Georgia Radio Reading Service (GaRRS) visited with the Georgia Industries for the Blind (a Division of the Georgia Department of Labor) at their Bainbridge and Albany locations on Monday, May 24th. GaRRS is Georgia’s only radio reading for the blind, visually impaired and people facing difficulties with the printed word. GIB is Georgia’s largest employer of the Blind. The two organizations connected recently on GaRRS’ radio show, “Career Corner,” which highlights job fairs, training and opportunities. Career Corner airs every Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. Listen for GIB interviews on the show that airs Sunday, June 27, 2010.
